This V-Band connection adapter, manufactured by BAR-TEK, is designed for Garrett G-Series turbo installation on 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen3 engines. The adapter provides a secure and leak-free connection between the turbo and the exhaust manifold or downpipe. Manufactured from high-quality materials and precision CNC machining, it can be used with confidence in performance applications.Thanks to the high-temperature resistant and flow-optimized adapter flange, you can easily mount your Garrett G-Series turbochargers to your engine. It offers much higher quality, durability, and strength compared to standard cast products.

It is specifically designed and developed for Garrett's new G-Series turbochargers with integrated wastegate valves. Thanks to modern and well-thought-out exhaust gas routing, Garrett G-Series “reverse” turbochargers deliver superior efficiency. As with original turbochargers, the engine's exhaust gases are directed to the turbine wheel in a flow-optimized manner. This provides much faster response and much higher efficiency compared to BorgWarner turbochargers.

The g-series' internal wastegate valve offers a simple and cost-effective conversion option. The adapter flange, manufactured to series production quality, is virtually indestructible and visually appealing. Thanks to the MAR turbine wheel and stainless steel exhaust housing, the turbochargers are resistant to temperatures up to 1050°C. While BorgWarner EFR turbochargers are limited to 950°C, this product allows you to utilize the full potential of your high-performance engine.

Installation

Applied directly to the turbo and manifold / downpipe connection points. During installation, ensure that the V-Band clamp is tight and the adapter is correctly positioned. Professional installation is recommended for high-performance applications.
