GENERAL GARRETT G SERIES TURBOCHARGER DESCRIPTION


Compressor

• All G compressor impellers are CFD designed.
  
• They are forged and milled from special, high-strength aluminum alloys.
  
• New G Series compressor impellers:
  
• Provides 15% more airflow on 60 mm wheels and 30% more airflow on 67 mm wheels thanGTX Gen II compressor wheels.
  

Compressor Housing:

• Features integrated mounting for optional speed measurement sensors.
  
• New aerodynamically optimized high-flow compressor housings.
  
• Adapted to the new G series compressor impellers.
  
• Generation I improved recirculation systems adopted in the G Series.
  
• It significantly extends the operating range of the compressor by shifting the surge line.
  

Cartridge

• All Garrett G CHRAs are equipped with a 4-port water cooling system.
  
• 2 connections can be selected on each side.
  
• This greatly simplifies the installation of water pipes and hoses.
  
• The G Series comes with dual ceramic ball bearings like the Gen II .
  
• New is the double piston ring seal on both sides.
  

Turbine

• The new turbine impellers are made of high-performance Mar-M material.
  
• This material is resistant to exhaust gas temperatures up to 1050°C.
  
• With the same wheel dimensions, 15-20% more exhaust gas flow is achieved compared to the GTX turbocharger.
  

Turbine Housing:

• The exhaust casings are cast from a special stainless steel alloy that can withstand temperatures up to 1050°C.
  
• Currently turbine housings are only available with V-band flange and without exhaust cover.
  
• In the future all other flange models and internal waste cover options will be available.

• If this turbocharger is not marked as stocked, we may still have the individual components in stock and can assemble the turbocharger for you.
