Mishimoto's aluminum underbody protection panel, developed for the 2015–2020 BMW F80 M3 and F82 M4 models, is designed to protect critical components such as the engine and oil cooler from road debris and impacts. Its high-strength aluminum construction and corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish ensure long-lasting protection.

The lower protection plate protects the lower part of the engine and the oil cooler from road debris, gravel, and other potential hazards. Additionally, the specially designed diffuser and pre-installed foam ensure airflow directed toward the oil cooler, thereby enhancing cooling performance. When additional ground clearance is required, the front diffuser can be easily removed.
