TBB5 brackets are manufactured specifically for the 23 cm hole centers on the sides of the B5 seat. They are 30mm shorter than the similar TBB5T and can therefore be used above the Tillett seat adjustment rails or where the central seating area is in a lower depression than the mounting surface below the brackets. The brackets have holes and slots that allow the seats to be tilted, raised and lowered.
TBB5 brackets are made of 5mm thick aluminum with a scratch-resistant textured black powder-coated surface. Since the sides of the B5 are nearly vertical, the TBB5 brackets are set at 90°. Therefore, they can be used facing inwards or outwards under the saddle. They can be used on top of the PTRi or STRi saddle adjustment rails, facing under the seat. Used with the wider stem of the PTRO or STRO sets, facing outwards.
The new TBB5 now mounts directly to the B5 seat on Mk1 and Mk2 Mazda (Matia) MX5 OEM Runners.
- TBB5 brackets can be used facing IN (under the seat) to achieve minimal footprint for narrow or restricted cockpits. Alternatively, on a car of sufficient width, it can be turned OUTWARD for greater stability and easier access to the lower brackets. white;">Slot and hole options on the brackets allow the seat to be tilted, raised and lowered.
