The AEM X-Series Wideband UEGO Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Controller Gauges are built on a unique, patented 100% Digital technology (Patent 9,575,030). This technology enables them to be the fastest-responding wideband air/fuel ratio controllers in independent tests. The X-Series Wideband UEGO AFR Sensor Controller Gauge (PN AEM 30-0300) has a 2 1/16 inch (52 mm) diameter and features a modern, visually striking faceplate. It includes a new seven-segment center display that is 87% larger than the center display of the AEM 30-4110 wideband gauge, creating an enhanced perception of size while maintaining the common 52 mm size for easy installation. Its slim depth (less than one inch overall) and ultra-thin 0.200-inch cup depth significantly expand its application base and potential mounting locations.
The AEM Wideband X-Series UEGO AFR gauge features a user-configurable display, allowing adjustments to AFR values for different fuels, Lambda, or O2%, switching between three or four-digit displays, performing free-air calibration as sensors age, and changing CAN message IDs when connecting multiple X-Series controllers or gauges in sequence. Included are a black bezel and black dual-faced faceplate, with an optional silver bezel and white dual-faced air/fuel and Lambda faceplate available separately (PN 30-0300-ACC). Automatic dimming is also included.
The gauge is equipped with locking connectors for secure connections between harnesses and gauges and features a single-board design for enhanced durability. It includes a 0-5V and RS232 Serial Port output for feedback control and data logging, as well as an AEMnet (CANbus) output for data logging and daisy-chaining additional X-Series wideband controllers (up to 16 cylinders). It supports vehicle/system voltages up to 16V and is compatible with EFI or carbureted applications using various fuels.
The X-Digital wideband technology allows these controllers to read and report values that other controllers cannot, enabling optimized engine tuning and safer overall operating conditions. Its high-speed digital implementation ensures no loss of signal fidelity and guarantees full transient response, detecting even the smallest fluctuations in AFR and outputting them with precise accuracy.

AEM's Wideband Controllers with X-Digital technology reduce latency and improve your vehicle's performance by providing more accurate AFR tuning. Latency refers to the delay between a change in exhaust gas composition and the time the O2 sensor reports it. While exhaust gas flow (transport delay) contributes to latency, the response of the sensing elements to the gas is the largest factor under high RPM and load conditions. Reducing latency improves wideband feedback control, providing safer, stronger, and more precise tuning for your vehicle.
